VRS Hybrid Plan
Short Term Disability

As a VRS Hybrid Plan employee you may be eligible to receive Short Term Disability (STD) benefits while you are absent from work due to an approved illness or disability.

The Hybrid Disability Plan is administered by AnthemLife and provides some income protection if you are unable to work due to disability. As an employee in the VRS Hybrid Retirement Plan, you are automatically enrolled in this program, which meets the requirements of Title 5.1 of the Code of Virginia.
